Following on the back of their million selling debut ‘Costello Music’, the 2007 Brit Awards' Best British Breakthrough Act, The Fratellis, are wasting no time dropping their explosive comeback single ‘Mistress Mabel’ at the end of May. Only days since its first play on Jim Gellatly's show on XFM Scotland, the single has already been made Zane Lowe’s record of the week. It’s been a whirlwind 2 years for the Fratellis, in which they were labelled ‘The best new band In Britain’ by The NME, and spent 3 weeks at no.2 when the album was first released in September 2006. No less than six months later they where playing a sold out national tour which included 4 nights at the historic Brixton Academy.

Costello Music gave birth to some of the most catchy, sing along anthem’s in recent times, the thunderous Creepin Up The Backstairs, the heartfelt Whistle For The Choir and the epic Chelsea Dagger, a song so grand it’s verve is echoed across every major sporting ground and stadium up and down the country. The band are playing an intimate sold out tour in April in conjunction with MTV’s ‘Brand spanking new music’ and catch a very exclusive performance on Friday 11th April at the Royal Albert Hall with Roger Daltrey, for the Teenage Cancer Trust. For those of you who are not lucky enough to see these intimate performances from Scotland’s biggest band, The Fratellis will be gracing the main stages at Glastonbury, Leeds, Reading and T In the Park.
