biffy clyro will release their stomping new single ‘Who’s Got A Match’ on 4 February, 2008 through 14th Floor Records. The single follows on from their sold-out UK November tour, which included two hometown shows at Glasgow Barrowland, and a date at London’s Brixton Academy. Taken from their critically acclaimed fourth album Puzzle, ‘Who’s Got A Match’ with its anthemic and rousing chorus has become a huge live favourite amongst fans.

2007 has been a monumental year for biffy clyro. Kick-starting January with the headline slot on the prestigious Kerrang! Tour, biffy clyro then went on to support Bloc Party on their European tour before heading back to the UK for 11 sold-out headline dates. Continuing at an unrelenting pace, biffy clyro have become something of a fixture at this year’s festivals having played triumphant sets at Download, Oxegen, T in the Park, Glastonbury, The Carling Weekend and the Warped Tour in the US.

2007 has also been biffy’s year for high-profile support slots, including dates with Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones, The Who and a phenomenal Wembley Stadium show with Muse. biffy have also been selected for high-profile support slots across the pond, supporting Queens of The Stone Age and Editors on their Autumn tours.

Puzzle itself has garnered extraordinary critical acclaim. Kerrang! proclaimed that, ‘Puzzle is a masterpiece. It is awesome’, while NME described it as ‘Essential’ and said that it made biffy clyro ‘serious contenders for the title of Greatest Band in Britain’. The Fly said that it would turn them into ‘a world class concern’, and Rock Sound noted that Puzzle gives UK rock ‘an album to rival the importance of Nevermind’.
