The Enemy Homecoming + Revolutionary Ticket & Single Sales Initiative
13/11/2007
Already the defining sound of 2007, The Enemy commence 2008 with the news that they will play a homecoming show at Coventry’s 8,000 capacity Ricoh Arena. The gig represents a landmark for Coventry’s music scene as it represents the first time that the city has hosted a large show for home grown talent. The gig is part of a UK tour that includes two nights at London’s Astoria.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday 9th November and are also part of an innovative scheme changing the way both tickets and music is sold. This fan-orientated initiative will allow the consumer to simultaneously purchase both their tickets for the forthcoming tour and the band’s new single ‘We’ll Live and Die in These Towns’ for the first time, through the ticket companies (Ticketmaster and See Tickets). Fans will be given the option to buy an unique digital bundle for 79p alongside their tickets in a ‘one stop shop’ with the single sales counting towards the chart position of the forthcoming release.

The Enemy will release ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’ on December 3rd as the latest single to be taken from their #1 album of the same name. This single follows a triumphant run of success for the band that has including headlining the sold out NME Rock & Roll Riot Tour, picking up the Q Award for Best New Band and scoring their fourth NME cover to date. They also won Best New Act at the Festival Awards.
Having performed at the BBC Electric Proms, the band are currently on the road as special guests to the Stereophonics at the personal request of singer Kelly Jones before taking their raucous sound off to Japan in December to round off what has been a truly exceptional year for The Enemy.
