
Written by Kelly Jones, it kick-starts with shimmering electric guitar chords before shifting gear into a glorious, one-listen-and-you’re-hooked chorus. One of the album’s inimitable highlights, ‘My Friends’ follows the lead single ‘It Means Nothing’ and is available on Maxi CD, USB, 7” vinyl and to download with must-have bonus material.
The video was directed by Charles Mehling, whose credits include Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Kooks, The Charlatans.
Produced by Kelly and Jim Lowe (Foo Fighters, Manic Street Preachers), ‘Pull the Pin’ is a rock record of epic proportions. Mixed by Spike Stent, whose previous credits include U2, Depeche Mode and Massive Attack, it’s a welcome return for the band and follows a decade of uninterrupted commercial success.
