PIGEON DETECTIVES NEW SINGLE & HUGE AUTUMN TOUR ANNOUNCED

The Pigeon Detectives return with a new single ‘Take Her Back’, hot on the heels of the amazing success of their debut album ‘Wait For Me’. It’s released on Leeds label Dance To The Radio. As much as any song on the album it crystallises what the Pigeons are about. Exploring the boy-girl dynamic, ‘Take Her Back’ also comes with yet another amazing hook. It demonstrates again the strength in depth of debut ablum ‘Wait For Me’, an album full of perfect, fizzing guitar-pop songs. Every track could be a single. The release marks another landmark for Matt, Oli, Ryan, Dave and Jimmi. The last twelve months has seen them catapult into the national consciousness. Two top 20 singles, sold-out shows in venues such as the Astoria and Leeds Town Hall and just some of the highlights of a whirlwind year from one of the most exciting bands in the UK.

The Pigeon Detectives are all set to conquer Glastonbury having been one of the highlights of Wireless recently. Their hectic summer schedule will see them play Reading/Leeds, Oxegen and T in The Park, and the first Underage Festival in London on 10th August. The Pigeon Detectives have unveiled their biggest tour so far. This autumn, they’ll be playing just about every nook and cranny of the UK as they criss-cross the country throughout October and November. Matt, Oli, Ryan, Dave and Jimmi will be giving everyone the chance to see them, as they play both towns off the beaten track and legendary venues such as the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool and the Forum in London.
