Had Enough? We Want More! Enemy News...

05/06/2007

Having had their first full single, Away From Here, crash into the Top 10, The Enemy are set for another huge boost when they release Had Enough on June 25th on Warner Bros. Records. Had Enough typifies The Enemy’s sound; gritty and raw yet infectiously hook-laden. The single will be available on CD and two 7” formats with bonus tracks and b-sides to be confirmed. The Enemy’s long awaited debut album We’ll Live and Die in These Towns will follow on July 9th.

The band are currently touring mainland Europe before returning to the UK as guests to the Manic Street Preachers at Nicky Wire’s invitation for dates in May and June. They will then headline the following tour that includes their largest show to date at London’s Astoria:

June 6th - Cardiff University 7th - Leeds Stylus 8th - Stoke Sugarmill 9th - Newcastle Northumbria University 11th - Edinburgh Liquid Room 13th - Sheffield Leadmill 14th - Nottingham Trent University 15th - Birmingham Academy 16th - Leicester Half Time Orange 18th - Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms 19th - Brighton Concorde 20th - London Astoria

Formed in February 2006, The Enemy have already released the Stiff Records singles 40 Days & 40 Nights (all 1000 copies sold-out in less than a day) and It’s Not OK (all 5000 copies sold in less than a week). Away From Here peaked at #8 upon its release in April.
