Muse: First Band To Play New Wembley Stadium

Muse follow their BRIT Award for Best Live Act with a new single from their double platinum album, ‘Black Holes and Revelations’. Over four albums, the band have sold in excess of 7 million records worldwide and the latest is their biggest seller to date.

Muse have risen to become one of the UK’s most prominent bands in recent times, with stand out headline shows at Glastonbury in 2004 and The Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2006 firmly establishing them as one of the world’s most exciting and vital rock bands. The band kicked off 2007 with further show stopping performances at The Big Day Out in Australia and continues with a hectic touring schedule throughout the year which includes visits to Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan and the USA.

In June Muse will become the first band to play the newly built Wembley Stadium. Tickets for the show sold out in hours allowing the band to add a second night for which only a handful of tickets now remain. The band are also nominated for four categories at this year’s NME Awards – Best Band, Best Album, Best Single and Best Live Act. Muse will also headline this year’s Isle of Wight Festival on June 9th.
