Motoring Back : The Datsuns return with new EP

The Datsuns are back with the release of a limited edition EP on May 8th entitled “Stuck Here For Days”.

The four-tracker, which includes the slide-guitar-tingling lead track “Stuck Here For Days”, also features the more traditional “Kick & A Bang”, the 1:22 blast of high energy that is “Sky Is Falling” and the psych-rock waltz “One Eye Open”. This self-produced EP will be the first UK release from the 4-piece since October 2004.

The “Stuck Here For Days” EP will be available on limited edition 10” white vinyl and, this is a first in download history, a LIMITED EDITION download of 1000 which will be available on a first come, first served basis on the day of release, via the bands website - (www.thedatsuns.com). It will, of course, come bundled with the artwork.

Renewed, reinvigorated and revitalized The Datsuns have been tucked away in the studio working on new songs and styles. Being prolific in their writing has given the band new scope and the EP promises to serve as a mere taste of material to come.

With new songs to trial and perform the Datsuns haven’t been idle on the gig-front either. After sporadic European festival appearances in-between writing in 2005 the band spent the New Year and January in the sunshine touring through the antipodes. Fresh from a US east coast jaunt & storming shows at this years SXSW in Texas they are back to do what they do best. Short, sharp and sweet – catch the boys at these places in April....
